A FAMILY AFFAIR: This past Saturday NY Orchestras had the band Central Park Orchestra perform at a wedding in New Jersey at the Ridgewood Country Club, located in Paramus, NJ. CPO had performed at the bride’s sister’s wedding 2 years ago.
WEDDING SONGS: The bride and groom chose some classic music for their special wedding dances. The first dance was “Ain’t That a Kick in the Head” by Dean Martin. The bride danced with her dad to “You Make Me Feel So Young” by Frank Sinatra and the groom danced with his mom to “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong. Crooner Freddy Martin delivered perfect renditions of these wonderful compositions. Bandleader Bill Messinetti says; “most brides and grooms choose either classic songs or country songs for their first dance and parent dances. That is where you will find the best lyrical content appropriate for weddings.”
